Privacy notice

Who we are

BLACKED OUT LLP (UEN T26LL0062K), a limited liability partnership registered in Singapore, registered office 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, #05-04, The Central, Singapore 059817. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean BLACKED OUT LLP.

What we collect, and why

• When you mix your bar. The occasion, your story if you write one, the guest count, the bar and the drinks you pick, and, if your device shows the 3D bar, a picture of it. We save them when you choose "Pick a call time", so we can prepare for your call. Until then they stay in your browser only, so you can come back to them, and they are cleared from it once you book.
• When you book the free call. Cal.com asks for your name and email to book it, and the call takes place on Zoom. We use these to hold the call and plan your night.
• When you ask to hear from us. Your email address, which list you joined (events or drink kits) and when. We use it only to tell you about what you asked for. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• When you message us. What you send us on WhatsApp or by email, so we can reply.
• Tickets and payments. Event tickets are sold on Eventbrite, which handles your details under its own privacy policy. Bookings are paid by PayNow or bank transfer, and we keep a record of each payment: the name, amount and date.
• While you browse. Your 18+ answer, your cookie choice and your mix answers are kept in your browser; the cookie policy lists them. We only count visits if you choose "Accept all".

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data. We never have.
• We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels.
• We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
• We do not collect payment card details. We never see a card number.

Who else can see it

We use service providers to run the site: Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting, Cal.com to book calls and Zoom to hold them. Only if you choose "Accept all" on the cookie bar, we count visits with our own counter, kept in our own database, with no name attached and no advertising or outside analytics service. If you buy a ticket, Eventbrite sells it; if you message us on WhatsApp, Meta carries the message. They process data on our instructions, or under their own terms where you use them directly. Some processing may take place outside Singapore; where it does, we rely on those providers' contractual data protection terms. We do not otherwise disclose personal data, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, or as long as the law requires (payment records, for tax). After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you. Email sign-ups are kept until you ask us to stop.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer respond to an enquiry. Write to blackedoutsg@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
